SUMMARY:The Crossroads
DESCRIPTION:Many people who become interested in psychedelic practice arriv
e at a crossroads in their professional lives.\n\nA personal experience of
non-ordinary states\, or of supporting someone close to them\, can raise qu
estions about the work they want to do and the contribution they want to ma
ke. For Simon Yugler\, the path into this field involved a career change fr
om experiential education and international guiding into psychotherapy and
psychedelic practice.\n\nPersonal experience can awaken the wish to guide o
thers. Readiness to accompany another person asks for preparation\, self-in
quiry\, and an understanding of professional responsibility. How does a per
son recognize the limits of their own experience\, and what helps them deve
lop the judgment required to accompany others?\n\nFor those considering a c
areer change\, these questions also carry practical weight: where the work
could take place\, what responsibilities it carries\, and what preparation
each setting requires.\n\nIf this conversation speaks to you\, registration
